Vickie Vaughn IBMA Award

Did you hear who the new Queen of the Bass is? Why yes, folks, our own beloved Vickie Vaughn! She took home IBMA's "Bass Player of the Year" while we were all flying to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco. Somehow a few of us managed to get enough WIFI on the plane to stream the awards show.... wouldn't you know it- Vickie's phone died before she found out it was HER who won!! We can't think of anyone more deserving of this tremendous honor. We are so lucky and grateful to have her in this band.
